Changsha has been enduring sauna-like conditions as the city has been experiencing high temperatures and muggy weather for days. On such scorching days, water parks have become the top choice for many looking to escape the heat.
On the afternoon of July 9, waves of simulated ocean swells rolled in one after another at a pool of the Happy Water World in Changsha Landscape and Ecology Garden. Adults and children cheered and jumped into the water, letting the refreshing splashes soak them and instantly beat the summer heat.
Nearby, tourists rode inflatable rafts on a super-large horn-shaped slide, experiencing the thrilling sensation of weightlessness as they rapidly slided down from a height and spun wildly within the slide.
