On June 9, parents led their child to release fish fry into waters. A fish releasing campaign themed "protecting aquatic life, building a beautiful China" was launched at the Orange Isle Scenic Area, Changsha on that day. The event was jointly organized by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Hunan Province and the Changsha Municipal People's Government. It aimed to promote the recovery of aquatic biological resources, enhance the quality of aquatic ecological environment, and create a good atmosphere of caring for aquatic organisms, protecting the ecology of the waters, and boosting green development.
